Step lap core cutting line is designed and built to produce transformer cores with step lap laminations. Multi step-lap construction is an advanced and green core design which suitable for high efficiency transformers. It can obviously improve the core performance, reduce no-load loss, sound level and magnetizing currents. The line has two punch and two cut, V notch can transverse moving driven by servo motor.

It can automatically cut step lap cores, meet different requirements of core design. With hole punching for stacking positioning, it can save core assembly times and simplify top yoke insertion. The machines can produce a wide range of transformer cores, minimizing set-up times. The core cutting lines can be equipped with manual or automatic stackers.

3. Decoiler: single head or double head decoiler
4. Hole punch: 1 hole punch, option for 2nd hole punch
5. V notch: 1 CNC crosswise, servo-driven, option for 2nd V notch
6. Shear: 1 1 x 45° and 1 x 45°/90°, servo-driven
